The Shediac Motorcycle Rally began in 2003. It was the brain child of three individuals whose dedication and input is still infused in the rally today. Danny Bourque, Helen Elliott and Moril Leger started what has become the most anticipated and enjoyable rally of the summer.
It is the oldest bike rally in Atlantic Canada and has raised over $141,000 for sick kids - none of which would have been possible without several dedicated volunteers.
This years’ 2017 Rally will run from August 24th – 27th with the proceeds going to the Children’s Wish Foundation. The rally, as always, welcomes everyone – bikers and non-bikers alike. Please come and enjoy the weekend. There’s plenty to see and do to have some fun and be a part of supporting a great cause.
Message from the President
Another year and a new riding season is close at hand. On the heels of a successful 2016 rally, we have begun planning for another fun event.
Riding since 2009 myself, I have met some wonderful people and heard some wonderful stories at the rally in Shediac. It is with great pleasure that I take this chance to address all the past and present supporters of our cause. Our charity, again this year, is the Children’s Wish Foundation who have achieved great things with the support of the Town of Shediac and our alliance with local businesses.
Our volunteers and several organizations work hard to make our event memorable for the public and bikers alike. As the President for the 2017 rally, I look forward to working with everyone. I have a great team beside me and our focus is on the end result ..... “GRANTING WISHES TO THE KIDS”
